Tierra Noble Blanco Tequila (750ml / 40%)

Laying claim to the highest modern distillery in the world, La Estacada sits at 7,200 feet above sea level. It is here that the Herrara family produce their exquisit sipping tequila Tierra Noble. La Estacada is located just outside the equisite town of Mazamitla in Jaliso Mexico.

Two unique aspects of Tierra Noble which make it the perfect tequila are at these high altitudes, the air is cool and crisp which causes a much slower fermentation resulting in a musto with well developed flavours (using exclusively Montpelier wine yeast) and a secondary fermentation, usually only scene in chardonnay production, which produces beautiful buttery notes in the final product.

This blanco tequila is the perfect manifestation of the 7,200 concept where agaves of the two main producing regions converge; “Valley of Tequila” with its aromatic complexity and “Los Altos de Jalisco” that bring sweet and floral notes, making this the most noble of all.

AROMA: Well defined; Strong presence of cooked Agave, herbal, mint and citrus notes, with a slight flash of anise.
TASTE: Soft and fresh of increasing intensity; notes of raw agave, a long finish, rich and balanced.
BARREL: Unaged tequila
