El Tequileno Cristalino Reposado Tequila (750ml / 35%)

This El Tequileno cristalino is unlike many on the market today which comes down to the zero additives used in it's production. It took a lot of convincing for Antonio "Tony" Salles to finally give in to this marketing manager and produce what he believed to be a tequila with no purpose. He couldn't understand why anyone would want to filter out everything that you give a tequila through aging and then use additives to correct the colour, aroma and flavour profile.

Given the demand in the local Mexican market from young adult drinkers, Tony finally gave way to producing a cristalino on the one condition that zero additives would be used. If he couldn't produce a world class cristalino tequila naturally, it simply wouldn't make the portfolio.

We'll leave you to be the judge on how well he did.

BARREL: Rested for 5 months in American Oak

El Tequileno has and always will be additive free. This unique brand also does not use chill or coal filtration (except for the Cristalino), ensuring the tequila you have is rich full of oils, aromas and flavour.
